Second Interview

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
at Department of Electronics, Government College Mananthavady, Wayanad, Kerala on the Indian
Space Research Organization (ISRO) funded project under the RESPOND program.
Project title: HEAT SINK INTEGRATED X-BAND MICROSTRIP ANTENNA ARRAY
Principal Investigator : Dr. Rohith K. Raj, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics, Government
College Mananthavady, Wayanad, Kerala
Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 1 post
Stipend Rs. 37,000/- + 10% HRA per month
Duration The initial appointment is for one year, extendable for one more year based on
performance.
Qualifications
Essential:
M.Sc/M.Tech Degree in Electronics (with Specialization in Microwave
Electronics) selected through a process described through any one of the
following:
Qualified UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professor) or GATE or
equivalent national-level examination conducted by central government
departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) at the Master’s level.
Desirable:
Experience in Heat sink design and its applications in Antenna systems
Hands-on experience in CST Microwave Studio and HFSS
Experience in Thermal Simulation packages
Hands-on experience in Microstrip antenna design and antenna
measurements in Anechoic chamber using Network Analyzer, Spectrum
Analyzer etc.
Strong theoritical background in Microstrip antenna and its array
