EDUSAT is the first Indian satellite built exclusively for serving the educational sector. It is mainly intended to to meet the demand for an interactive satellite based distance education system for the country and strongly reflects India’s commitment to use space technology for national development, especially for the development of the population in remote and rural locations. To cater the benefits of distant education to the student populace of the State, Govt College Mananathavady has setup EDUSAT facility with the aid from Govt of Kerala, which facilitates live streaming of classes by experts. It has a seating capacity of 40.Audio Visual Room with modern amenities such as LCD projector, interactive board, TV etc acts as the seminar hall as well as board room. |
